Description

• It was excavated from Nyaung Ni mound, southern part of Hmawzar group, Sriksetra. It was a stone sculpture depicting the events of the Buddha. Varanasi, in the forest of Migadawon, the first sermon was preached and the Dhamma Sakkra Mudra style. You can see the two Sဝvakas who were meditating and represent the five Pyinsavaggis preaching the first Dhamma. On the both sides the bottom edge, Sakka and Brahma seem to be listening. Nowadays we cannot see the view on both statues. At the top, there is a statue of Buddha’s stand and show of Vitakamudra on each side of Kwan Taung. It is a statue of Maha Brahma standing to next. The statue appears to be a mixture of the Dhamma Hall and the Power of Revelation. It is located directly under the Buddha's lotus throne. There are two deer that refer to the Isipatana Deer Forest. Two women holding and appearing to be offering in each hand. The upper right edge has three heads and a large Brahma.
