This low relief sculpture in the shape of a trident, the weapon of Shiva, placed in a vase is rarely found in Khmer art. On the central point of the trident there is a Sanskrit poem that mentions an 80 year-old person erecting a Shiva linga at that location and deposited his teeth in the two holes below the trident. This object indicates diversity within the Shiva cult in Cambodian society from pre-Angkorian to Angkorian times.
